NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Powerball jackpot is growing and five lucky winners in Tennessee took home more than $50,000, according to a release from Tennessee Lottery officials.

Saturday’s drawing was the fifth Powerball drawing of 2021, and for the fifth time in a row, at least one winning ticket worth $50,000 or more was sold in Tennessee.

There were five winning tickets this time. Five players matched four out of five white balls and the red Powerball in Saturday’s drawing to win at least $50,000. Three of those people chose the Power Play feature for an extra $1 and because the number drawn was 3, the $50,000 prize was tripled to $150,000.

The winning tickets were sold at the following retailers:

· $50,000 at Ebenezer Market, 600 Ebenezer Rd in Knoxville;

· $50,000 at Weigel’s, 8410 Middlebrook Pike in Knoxville;

· $150,000 at Friendly Market, 4720 Fort Henry Dr. in Kingsport (Sullivan County);

· $150,000 at Express Mart, 320 Madison St. in Shelbyville (Bedford County); and

· $150,000 at Vonore Mobile, 1015 Highway 411 in Vonore (Monroe County).

No additional information is available until the prizes are claimed. Click here for information on how to claim.

Pick one Set of 6 Numbers (Quick Pick may be used –see below)

  • 5 numbers from the upper area
  • 1 number from the lower area
The winning Number will be Drawn on the Days and Times shown for each game, above.
A “play” is one set of 6 numbers for one draw.

Always fill out a Playslip for a Set of Numbers. Play up to 5 Sets of Numbers per Playslip by
Picking one Set of Numbers in each Box, A thru E. Mistakes may be Voided (see VOID below).

2. Play Numbers for Multi-Draws

You may Play your Set/Sets of Numbers for up to 12 consecutive Draws for Tennessee Cash or
up to 10 consecutive draws for other games (Includes the next Draw). Be sure to mark MULTIDRAW if you want more than one Draw.

3. Quick Pick (QP)

You may choose to have the computer randomly Pick any Set of Numbers by marking ‘QP’ in either the upper and/or the lower areas of the box for that Set of Numbers. If you do not choose QP you must enter your own Numbers in that Box.

4. Multiplier

Costs $1 extra per Play (A Play is one Set of 6 numbers). By choosing the MULTIPLIER option, non-jackpot winners will be paid a multiple of the regular prize amount as described below. See Prize Chart. To select this option, check the appropriate MULTIPLIER area for any of the game:

Power Ball Multiplier (Power Play):

A Power Play number of either 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 will be randomly selected for each draw. The 10 multiplier may only be selected when the advertised annuity jackpot is $150 million or less. When a ticket with Power Play wins a non-jackpot prize, the regular prize amount will be multiplied by the Power Play number drawn. See Prize Chart for exceptions.

5. VOID

It is not a good idea to try to correct a mistake made on a Playslip. The better option is to mark Void in that section. All other Play Areas of the Playslip are still acceptable to Play and only the Area marked Void will not be played by the terminal.
